KHS 2008 Boise Reunion

I received note from Sunny Taylor regarding the upcoming 50-60's reunion. She says 38 from the 50's era have
signed up. I would say that is a good sign for the 60 to 70 YO group. Hope many from other years attend, too.

KHS & Friends Cruise - Anyone Interested?

A few of us have been talking about going on a 3-day cruise out of Long Beach, CA to Ensenada. It would leave on a Friday around 5:30 pm (you board the ship around 1 pm on?) and return Monday around 7:00 am (usually off the ship by noon). The pricing ranges from around $200 - $250 per person (minimum double occupancy) for an inside cabin depending on the sail date. We are looking at Feb 29th (Leap Year Cruise?), late March (not around spring break/Easter) or the beginning or end of April....

Its hard to believe that Viva Las Vegas 07.07.07 has already come and gone and yet the memories linger and remain vivid. Among the many thoughts I have in reflecting on this past gathering, one memory stands out. Smiling faces. Smiles and more smiles. Jeannette Smith-Saylor's ('77) Mother

If you attended the Vegas reunion in July, you probably heard that Jeannette's beloved mother was rushed to a hospital the first night of the event. Her mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and her prognosis was not good.

Jeannette brought her home to lovingly care for her but she lost her difficult battle this morning. Since Jeannette was exceptionally close to her mother, she and her family are grief-stricken.

I know that Jeannette would appreciate some kind...

2008 reunion

I just wanted to see if anyone was already planning a reunion for next year. I am doing one in Hawaii (all school/all class) and wanted to make sure that there were no date conflicts. I'm thinking mid June.... Please let me know if anyone is thinking about having another one elsewhere around the same time.

I was in Wash D.C. last week and JoAn (Sheehan) Gheradini (the Wash D.C. KHS Social Chairwoman) & her husband Chuck put together a little dinner at an Italian restaurant near Dupont Circle so I could hang out with some KHS Grads while I was in town. It was really nice to see Sharon Becker, Charles & Deirdre Holder again, its been way to long. Sharon, what was the title of that book and the name of the author, I would really like to read it. I received an email this morning from an alum who graduated in 1959. He was looking for information about an October reunion in Virginia Beach, VA. I have not heard about this. Has anyone else?

BTW, this is yet another reason we need an authoritative site for listing all of the reunions by class, decade or location. This alum couldn't find anything online about the reunion and his only other option was to write a letter of inquiry to Sunny. I'm just trying to help him out.
