Mike Eells surgery

Hey everyone,

This is Chris, Mike's brother. First off Mike is doing ok right now. Earlier this summer Mike was diagnosed with a tumor that was wrapped around his auditory nerve. He was losing his hearing and the Army was trying to determine whether he could remain in his MOS (helicopter mechanic). About three weeks ago, he had a major 15 hour surgery which went fairly well. It took a lot out of him and he ended up having to be re-admitted because of some complications...

Thanks to the Air Force, I will be leaving Minot North Dakota after 9 long years here. They have graciously decided to PCS me back to the island. I couldn't be happier. I would have been happy to be anywhere else, but to send me back is something I never thought would happen. I'm still hoping this isn't a cruel joke by someone at AFPC, if it is....
Anyway, glad to be returning, I will be in place no later than the end of February, but more than likely around mid-January....

Just posting for S&G's. It's been awhile. Not much of a speaker, so short and sweet....Married, have a 3 year old amazing son.
