Message from the 2001 Summer Bash Coordinator, Wayne Tanigawa:

In our attempt to accomodate the serious procrastinators in our Dragon family, we've kept our registration open for as long as we possibly could...
and we thank the California Hotel for being so understanding. And now we find that we cannot hold off the inevitable any longer and must announce to one and all that the official registration for the Vegas Bash is now over.

Sincere thanks to everyone who took it upon themselves to support our recruitment efforts for it is through your generosity and dedication that we've gathered such a wonderful group of attendees. You've done a helluva job, guys, and now it's time to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Hell, its time to rock and ro'... yo mama yo!

Dragons love to dance and party long and late... dat's fo' damn sure. And so it is, in recognition that we may have a number of brothers and sisters from the coast or neighboring states interested in joining us on Saturday night after dinner, that we've worked out a couple of options for you to join us to dance and party into the wee hours of the morning. So here goes:

Saturday Rock Show and Dance Only (no dinner) featuring our own rock legends, "Dust":

Date: Saturday, August 5, 2001
Time: Entry after 9:30 pm
Place: California Hotel, Ohana Room (2nd floor)
Notes: Includes entry and full comp of free-flowing cocktails and
refreshment in our hospitality suites on Saturday prior to 6:00 pm and at the Rock Show and Dance.
Price does not include dinner nor early entry before 9:30 pm.

Option 1: $35 per person, if payment is received by Wayne Tanigawa by Monday, July 16, 2001.

Option 2: $60 per person, if entry is requested at the door.

Important Notes: The above options pertain to the Rock Show and Dance only and does not include accomodations (the presumption being that the attendee has secured his/her own room for the evening). Be advised that there will be tight security at the door to prevent crashing as the California Hotel has no intention of allowing the party to get out-of-hand and disorderly.

Entry passes will be issued to those for whom payment is received by Monday, July 16th. For those paying at the door, your hand will be stamped upon entry.

Closing Notes: Stay tuned for more postings over the next three weeks on
the Summer Bash. You can phone Wayne Tanigawa during the work day at
